About PSPJ

Established in 1987, Persatuan Senifoto Petaling Jaya (PSPJ) is a dynamic photography society with a proud 38-year legacy of nurturing creativity and passion for the photographic arts. Today, PSPJ has over 220 members, and continues to grow, welcoming photography enthusiast of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals, across diverse ages, backgrounds and nationalities.

Guided by its motto, “Enjoy Photography”, PSPJ provides an inclusive and vibrant platform where members can learn, create and share their passion. Through workshops, outdoor shoots, collaborative projects and community events, members sharpen their skills while building meaningful connections within the photographic community.

PSPJ’s key objectives are to promote interest in photography, raise the quality and standards of photographic practice, advance photography as both an art and a science, and foster cultural understanding and harmony locally and internationally through visual expression.

Recognised as one of Malaysia’s most active photography societies, PSPJ remains committed to cultivating talent, encouraging artistic exploration and connecting people through the power of visual storytelling.
